Mark Hamill and Matt Berry in "On the Run," We Do In the Shadows (2020)

Recommended spooky viewing:

What We Do in the Shadows, season two (2020)
Whole season is great, but that Jackie Daytona episode.
Carnival of Souls (1962)
Dreamlike and otherworldly—a probable Lynch influence. "Profane! Sacrilege! What are you playing in this church? Have you no respect? Do you feel no reverence? Then I feel sorry for you... and your lack of soul."
Over the Garden Wall (2014)
Beautiful folkloric animation, sweet humor, and deep uncanniness.
The Blood on Satan's Claw
Part of the general "folk horror" trilogy alongside Witchmaster General and The Wicker Man, this one felt goofy but also vivid, in a kind of hallucinatory almost body horror way. Especially good soundtrack.
The Velvet Vampire (1971)
Via Becky, a "fully bonkers sexy vampire comedy horror thriller with costuming so lush it made me wish i were an eternal bloodsucker in the mojave."

Before I go, made a bewildering but personal mixtape for AD, Scorpio Drifting: A Range and Basin Mixtape.
